We are busy getting the two newest designs printed and ready to ship. I wanted to give you a little preview of the desings. Welcome is a primitive style design that would look great in an entry or even over a doorway. It is all cross stitch so it can be stitched on the fabric of your choice. I did mine on 30 ct natural linen.

Baseball is a new favorite of mine. You may stitch your teams name and city where I have stitched Boston Red Sox. I have also provided numbers with the alphabet so you could stitch a players name and number. What would be a better design to be stitching along with watching the world series!

If you are going to Hershey this weekend Mimi's Attic has some of my models including the two newest designs. Jan always has a great selecton of charts in her booth. Stop by her booth if you are there, you will surely find something you need!

I will be at Bush Mountain Stitchery in Montoursville PA on Tuesday Oct 16th. I will be in the shop for a "meet and greet" from 2-4 PM and will be back at 6 PM to teach a class. I am teaching my Trick or Treat dsign that is a retired class piece. It will be a two hour or so class and MaeAnn has kitted these up with different fabrics and fibers so you can work on whatever you are comfortable with. Space is limited so give her a call and sgn up now. Here is ithe link to her shop:

Well, where does the time go? I have been so busy trying to get two new designs ready. I have them ready for my husband/webmaster/publisher and now he needs to find time to get them ready for me to assemble. He's been off to Canada diving in the St Lawrence Seaway, why???? Wrecks, he says. The man loves to explore shipwrecks at 100+ feet deep. Give me tropical reef diving any day.

I have been to Delaware and back for a baby shower for my husband's nephew and his girlfriend. Lindsay is due in November. I am really trying to crochet a baby blanket before the baby arrives. I doubt I'll get it done in time though. It was a very nice shower and I saw relatives from the Bronx who I hadn't seen in almost 20 years. Al's dad and step-mother were up from Florida also.

As a side trip I stopped at a cross stitch shop in New Jersey. Tawny has a wonderful, well-stocked shop and she and her husband are very helpful and a delight to talk to. I was there over two hours. What fun! Here is a link to her shop. If you're in the area do stop in: Where Victoria's Angels Stitch

My poor poor puppy has had a rough couple of weeks. It seems he not only has a bad left knee but also a bad right knee. So he had been in the "doggie hospital" and is on meds and needs lots of TLC. I was planning on going to the Western Massachusetts get-together last weekend but didn't want to leave the dog all day. Maybe next time girls! Anyhow, the dog is doing better and we have some options in case the meds don't help any longer. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. So please keep my dog in your thoughts.

I am trying to decide on my next Glory Bee project. I know one of my model stitchers is getting annoyed with me. I promised her a design and am kind of re-thinking it. I must email her tonight. I think I want to get two new winter ones out first. More details when I get my act together.

I have received my copies of the annual JCS Ornament issue from the publisher. I am so pleased that they invite me to contribute a design to this issue every year. I have had a design and recipe in this special issue every year since 2002 and hope to continue hereafter. I think there are a lot of very nice ornaments this year. I will confess I have all the issues going back to 1997 and have only stitched a couple of the ornaments besides my own! I think Brittercup's is especially beautiful. I do plan on stitching that one.

Off to more paperwork. I hope you all are having a great day. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your emails and comments..........Nancy
